Car finance for professional boxers

Sorbus Finance helps professional boxers explore car finance with relevant lender access and a broker to put fight purses and commercial income into context. We support company enquiries and personal enquiries where you meet the high-net-worth criteria. All finance is subject to eligibility checks, status and lender criteria.

Broker support to help you move forward

Access to relevant lenders, help presenting your circumstances and a broker to explain the next step: that is the value Sorbus brings to your enquiry.

Personal borrowing is a separate route from company finance. Sports professionals who meet the high-net-worth criteria may enquire personally, subject to eligibility checks and lender criteria. Sporting status alone does not establish eligibility.

More lender choice, with a broker to do the work

You should not have to turn a fight-based income into a standard salary story just to discuss your next car. Sorbus Finance can help present the income you actually receive and identify relevant lenders from our extensive panel of 150+ lenders. The wider panel covers different finance needs; the lenders approached for your car will depend on the borrower, vehicle and their criteria.

Our role is to bring the requirement and the lender’s assessment together. We help distinguish received purses, contracted commercial payments and less certain future earnings, so the case has context rather than just a headline figure. You have a broker to discuss the options with, rather than trying to interpret different lender requirements on your own.

Understand your company and personal options

We can explain the finance requirements for company and qualifying personal enquiries, so you understand which route you are discussing. If a company will borrow, the lender assesses its own income, financial position and the purpose of the vehicle. Personal fight earnings and company turnover remain separate; we help clarify which income supports the intended borrower before an assessment.

A personal enquiry can be considered if you meet the high-net-worth criteria used for the appropriate Prestige route. An initial selection on the enquiry form does not certify that an exemption applies or confirm that a lender will offer finance. Speak to your accountant or tax adviser about the right structure for you.

Explore a commitment that fits between fights

A useful car finance conversation starts with your schedule and the cash you want to keep available for training, travel and other commitments. We help you explore the deposit, term and repayment options a relevant lender may offer, and explain how each changes the commitment. That discussion should account for quieter periods, cancelled bouts and injury as well as the next purse.

A larger deposit may reduce the borrowing, but it also uses cash that could be needed elsewhere. A shorter term may increase regular payments. A balloon can leave a substantial amount due at the end, so its repayment must not depend on a future fight, an assumed resale value or refinancing that has not been agreed.

Help preparing the case, not just finding a lender

The value of a broker continues beyond an introduction. Once we understand the requirement, we can explain the evidence a relevant lender needs and help bring the case together. Received income, signed commercial agreements, company accounts where applicable and the vehicle details can each support a clearer picture. Requirements differ, so we explain the next step for your circumstances.

Please do not upload contracts, identification, bank details or other sensitive documents into the initial enquiry. An outline of the car, your intended borrower and whether income is regular or fight-based is enough to start a conversation. If an adviser contacts us, we need the client’s permission before discussing their circumstances in detail.

Know where you stand before you commit

Taking a break from boxing, changing commercial arrangements or moving abroad does not automatically end a car finance agreement. Check the terms before committing to a purchase that depends on a particular fight schedule. Company directors should also understand any personal guarantee requested by a lender.

Before selling or changing a financed vehicle, obtain the lender’s settlement terms and any required permission. Early settlement or termination can involve costs. Do not assume that returning a car clears everything owed, or that a new agreement will always be available when an existing term finishes.

Bring us your next car plans

Whether you have a particular car in mind or want to explore the finance before choosing, Sorbus gives you a place to start. Our Ferrari and Porsche guides cover marque-specific considerations, while a conversation with the team can focus on your budget, intended borrower and timing. There is no need to have agreed a purchase first.

Tell us you are a professional boxer and outline what you would like to achieve. We can discuss the possible routes, what a relevant lender may need and whether there is a practical next step. Your initial enquiry is not an application and involves no credit search or obligation. If the requirement needs adjusting, we will explain that too.
